Job Summary

Own the local ad sales and publication operations, turning community perspectives into recurring client relationships and sustainable revenue.

  • Drive face-to-face and virtual sales pitches for print and digital packages to local business owners.
  • Own content and operations of the publication to support revenue growth and community impact.
  • Present community-focused marketing strategies to win new accounts and expand existing ones.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Meet with local business owners to discuss marketing and advertising solutions
  • Sell print and digital advertising packages
  • Present community-focused marketing strategies
  • Build long-term client relationships and recurring accounts
  • Conduct face-to-face and virtual sales presentations
  • Manage content and operations of the local publication
  • Ensure financial growth and sustainability of the magazine

Requirements

  • Must live in Washington D.C.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Laptop, tablet, or iPad with Zoom capability
  • Availability Monday–Friday during standard business hours
  • Preferred Experience: 1+ year in sales, real estate, insurance, advertising sales, or B2B sales
