Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and post high-quality social content to ACLUM’s core platforms daily (LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Bluesky, Instagram, TikTok)
  • Develop and maintain the departmental publishing calendar for social content
  • Facilitate the post-approval process with directors and the National ACLU communications team
  • Capture photo and video content at ACLUM events and activities; edit content for posts, campaign materials, and publications
  • Design social media and website graphics in alignment with brand and copy standards
  • Create social media toolkits for coalition partners and supporters
  • Monitor engagement and comments on social platforms
  • Draft rapid response posts with input from relevant departments
  • Support the Audience Engagement Manager in setting up and monitoring paid social campaigns
  • Monitor and report on social media analytics; stay current on trends and recommend strategy updates
