Job Summary

Own shift level service quality and team execution in a busy cafe, balancing guest requests, recipe adherence, and store policies.

  • Shift ownership: delegate tasks to at least two teammates and coordinate workflow to keep service smooth.
  • Operations: uphold safety, cash handling, and policy adherence while maintaining attendance and punctuality.
  • Guest experience: coach preparation to standard recipes and customize as needed to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • As a shift supervisor you will lead with craft and heart to make your coffeehouse a welcoming space for your community.
  • Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodations
  • At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees
