Job Summary

Own and optimize a faith-based social media engine that drives community, event signups, and content that reflects a biblically grounded brand voice across Instagram and Facebook.

  • Social Execution: Own the calendar, posting cadence, and caption alignment with messaging standards.
  • Community & Campaigns: Drive engagement, respond to comments, and run promotional campaigns for Bible studies and events.
  • Analytics & Optimization: Monitor platform metrics, adjust strategy, and ensure timely coverage of services and live events.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage Sheologie’s social media platforms, driving engagement and consistent follower growth.
  • Develop and execute monthly social media posting calendars.
  • Upon completion of the monthly social media calendar, collaborate with the Communications Coordinator to develop captions and graphic verbiage aligned with Sheologie’s standards, tone, and messaging.
  • Respond to all Instagram & Facebook comments and DM’s, preferably during business hours and no later than two business days.
  • Ensure all digital content reflects Sheologie’s aesthetic, mission, and approved messaging.
  • Monitor analytics and adjust strategy to support growth and event marketing goals.
  • Maintain a feminine, welcoming, biblically grounded, and aesthetically elevated brand voice across all ministry operations.
  • Alert supervisor of any sensitive issues that may require monitoring, reporting or intervention.
  • Daily, weekly and monthly review of all social media platforms to ensure accurate information sharing.
  • Attend every service and events to collect photo and video

    Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects in a fast-paced creative environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional, warm, and brand-aligned tone.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a service-oriented approach toward attendees, co-workers, servants, vendors, and creative partners.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, engagement strategies, digital trends, and content planning best practices.
  • Creative eye for branding, aesthetics, photography, visual storytelling, and event presentation.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Self-starter who can work confidently, professionally, and collaboratively alongside industry professionals, vendors, and creative partners.
  • Quick learner who is coachable, adaptable, and eager to take on new responsibilities and creative challenges.
  • Ability to receive direction, feedback, and creative revision requests with professionalism, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence and delivering high-quality results reflective of the Sheologie brand.
  • Ability to problem-solve quickly, remain organized under pressure, and adapt during live events and ministry seasons.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion regarding ministry communications, planning, and internal operations.
  • Familiarity with photography, video editing, graphic design, and social media management tools preferred.
  • Experience coordinating events, creative projects, or volunteer teams preferred.
  • Ability to spiritually and professionally represent Sheologie both online and in person.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality for event setup days, evening gatherings, and ministry activities required.
  • Heart for ministry, hospitality, and serving women through creative communication and meaningful event experiences.
  • Must have been a follower of Christ for at least six (6) months, demonstrating spiritual maturity and alignment with Sheologie’s faith-based mission.
  • Active and engaged member of the Sheologie community.
