Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Applying deep experience and expertise of best-in-class application of the Salesforce platform to continuously iterate and modify marketing processes, as merited, to ensure teams are leveraged most compatibly with the platform’s advantages and realities.
  • Security & Scalability: Ensure recommendations and solutions meet all necessary requirements and is sufficiently scalable, and as much as possible, enterprise-friendly.
  • Architectural Governance & Blueprints: Lead the creation and maintenance of high-level technical blueprints, including Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), data schemas, and Integration maps (REST/SOAP); you must define the standards for JSON conversions, data payloads, and Triggered Send architectures to ensure a scalable and secure "Source of Truth" for the enterprise ecosystem.
  • Technical Strategy & Cross Functional Leadership: Act as the primary technical advisor for cross functional departments and initiatives, validating complex business opportunities against platform capabilities including the strategic deployment of Einstein AI and predictive modeling while partnering with Media and Analytics to architect unified, high-performance data streams.
  • Operational Excellence & Platform Health: Drive continuous improvement of the Salesforce environment by auditing system performance against platform "guardrails," establishing rigorous documentation standards for developers, and optimizing Automation Studio and Journey Builder configurations to ensure long term platform health and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology preferred
  • 7+ years managing, servicing, and/or executing programs for automotive Clients
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and adjacent platforms / products
  • Strong strategy, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong Client-facing presence and verbal communication skills
  • Experience leading large technology or transformational projects
  • Familiarity with agile development tools such as JIRA
  • Expertise in documenting business processes and requirements
