Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own SEO strategy and execution across a portfolio of client accounts.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and translate findings into prioritized, actionable recommendations.
  • Perform keyword research, competitive analysis, and SERP investigations to inform strategy.
  • Execute on-page optimization across client sites, including metadata, internal linking, content briefs, and schema.
  • Manage local SEO efforts, including Google Business Profile optimization, local citations, and location-based ranking strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze performance across your accounts using GA4, Google Search Console, and our SEO tooling, turning what you see into clear strategic next steps.
  • Proactively surface insights, opportunities, and concerns without waiting to be assigned.
  • Collaborate with internal content, development, and account management teams to align SEO with broader marketing goals.
  • Stay current on algorithm updates, SERP changes, and emerging tactics, and bring what you learn back to the team.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders and, when needed, directly with clients.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on SEO experience, with a track record of independently managing accounts or programs.
  • Solid working knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console, and at least one major SEO platform (Ahrefs, Semrush, Sitebulb, Screaming Frog, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills. You can pull performance data and understand the strategic implications, not just the surface-level numbers.
  • A good command of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and local search.
  • Comfort with spreadsheets and pulling insights from data.
  • Strong written communication. You can document your work, explain your reasoning, and share findings clearly.
  • A self-starter mindset. You can take an ambiguous problem, break it down, and come back with a recommendation.
  • Genuine curiosity about SEO and digital marketing. You read, experiment, and follow the industry on your own time.

Preferred

  • Experience working with real estate, home builders, or multi-family clients.
  • Genuine interest in AEO and LLM visibility tactics, and excitement about being on the cutting edge of a rapidly evolving search landscape.
  • Proficiency with AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT, especially applied to SEO workflows.
  • Experience integrating AI into your day-to-day workflows or automating processes (big plus, especially as it relates to SEO).
  • HTML/CSS familiarity.
