Job Description

Responsibilities

Own technical SEO health, including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, rendering, and structured data implementation
Conduct keyword and topic-based research to identify opportunities aligned with search intent and evolving user behavior
Partner with Merchandising and Content teams to optimize PLPs, PDPs, buying guides, and editorial content
Optimize and structure content for answer-driven and AI search experiences, including featured snippets, People Also Ask, zero-click results, and AI-generated responses
Develop internal linking strategies, content hierarchy, and semantic topic clustering to strengthen authority and discoverability
Monitor and analyze performance across rankings, traffic, click-through rates, and SERP feature visibility, including AI-driven placements
Identify technical issues and collaborate with developers to implement SEO best practices and improvements
Support site redesigns, launches, and enhancements with SEO requirements, QA, and validation
Analyze competitor strategies and search trends across traditional and AI search landscapes
Track and report on performance across multi-surface search (web, AI, image, and marketplace)

Requirements

4–7+ years of SEO experience, preferably within ecommerce
Strong understanding of technical SEO, including crawlability, indexation, site architecture, and structured data
Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, and SEO tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs)
Working knowledge of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), including featured snippets, People Also Ask, and voice search
Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI-driven search ecosystems
Understanding of entity-based and semantic SEO, including how search engines interpret and connect content
Awareness of modern search behavior, including zero-click searches and AI-driven discovery
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with content, product, and development teams
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience with or exposure to enterprise ecommerce platforms preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States
