Responsibilities

• Developing and executing SEO and GEO strategies, including keyword, entity, and competitive research, to drive organic growth and improve rankings.
• Monitoring and analyzing performance using SEO and AI visibility tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and emerging GEO platforms) and recommending updates to content and web pages.
• Structuring content for AI answer engines, using schema markup, clear entity definitions, and citable formats that earn inclusion in AI-generated responses.
• Staying ahead of search engine algorithm changes, AI search developments, industry trends, and best practices.
• Building strong relationships with subject matter experts across the organization and external vendors to align on go-to-market approaches.
• Analyzing campaign performance and making data-driven decisions to optimize effectiveness against target KPIs.
• Working closely with the full Digital Marketing team to ensure holistic alignment and drive conversations that matter.
• Educating internal teams on SEO, GEO, and AI search best practices, and championing them across the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field is required
• 5+ years' experience in digital marketing programs, including SEO, in an enterprise software or B2B company.
• Proven ability to improve organic search performance and rankings, with a working understanding of how content earns visibility in AI answer engines.
• Strong abilities in using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Data Studio to review data analytics and generate reports with insights.
• Familiarity with generative engine optimization (GEO) and how large language models select and cite sources, along with hands-on use of structured data and schema markup.
• A self-motivated, performance-driven, and professional demeanor.
