Job Description

Responsibilities

Manage and mentor a team of writers (weekly 1:1s + daily standups)
Scope, prioritize, and assign SEO and content projects
Develop SEO/content strategies for client websites (keyword strategy, site evaluation, content briefs, redirects, metadata)
Review content and provide feedback to maintain quality and performance
Oversee and improve reporting, including ranking reports and blog performance
Support client acquisition and retention through SEO strategy and execution
Implement technical SEO updates (redirects, broken links, header structure, etc.)
Prepare performance decks and participate in client meetings
Conduct technical launch audits for new sites
Step in as a copywriter during complex projects or workload spikes

Requirements

5+ years in SEO, content marketing, or organic growth
Experience managing writers or content teams
Strong understanding of on-page and technical SEO
Ability to translate SEO strategy into clear direction for writers
Strong project management and client communication skills
