Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as senior business lead for high-profile integrated packaged goods account; guiding strategic communications and marketing decisions
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the clients’ business, priorities, challenges and the competitive landscape
  • Push beyond traditional PR programs; champion bold, culturally relevant ideas that are built for social platforms
  • Ensure thoughtful integration across earned, social, influencer, owned and paid, with clear roles and amplification strategies
  • Build trusted, senior client relationships grounded in strong counsel and delivery excellence
  • Manage, coach and motivate employees and serve as a leader of the practice, driving upskilling and practice/agency culture
  • Oversee account operations, including staffing, financial performance and organic growth

Requirements

  • Strong instincts for what drives engagement on social including formats, platform behaviors, trends, and participation-driven content
  • 12+ years experience in communications, marketing, or related field
  • Proven ability to lead large, integrated, multi-million-dollar businesses
  • Strong background in CPG and/or retail space
  • Deep understanding of modern communications across social, digital, influencer, earned and paid with a clear point of view of how they work together
  • Demonstrated experience developing and leading social-first, culturally relevant campaigns
  • Strong track record integrating with agency partners to deliver comprehensive campaigns
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill ideas into clear, compelling narratives
  • Highly collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
  • Proactive, high-energy leader with experience building and motivating teams; sets the pace and expectations
