Job Summary

Drive end-to-end market research projects for multiple clients, from concept and fielding to reporting, client storytelling, and thought leadership narratives.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end project schedules, timelines, and key milestones
  • Contribute to research concepting, strategic framing, and story angles
  • Write surveys and research instruments from outlines with moderate oversight, ensuring clarity and strong insight potential
  • Manage fielding quality, e.g., reviewing survey instruments, preparing surveys for programming, testing field readiness, troubleshooting fielding issues, and coordinating with the data processing team
  • Prepare field progress updates and performance summaries for internal teams and clients
  • Prepare and populate report templates with accuracy and high-quality outputs
  • Write detailed findings and translate data into clear insights, implications, and strategic narratives
  • Participate in client discussions, readouts, and presentations
  • Proactively support client research needs with fresh ideas and emerging trends
  • Work across multiple client accounts simultaneously and manage time accordingly
  • Own the analysis and narrative development of findings for externally facing thought leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (concentrations in journalism, sociology, business or marketing a plus)
  • 2+ years of experience in market research, marketing, management consulting, media planning, media buying, strategic planning, investment banking, data journalism or related functions
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to independently author reports, storylines, and presentations
  • Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management (senior executives to managers and third parties)
  • Ability to work as part of a team and support junior analysts while handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail paired with big-picture strategic thinking
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where ownership and initiative are valued
  • Experience translating data into insights suitable for media/PR use (bonus)
  • Familiarity with thought leadership research or PR-driven studies (bonus)
