Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify opportunities and translate business strategy into tactical SEO requirements and implementation plans
  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies that align with AWS marketing business priorities and drive measurable customer acquisition - seek to identify areas where SEO best practices are not applied and seek to drive change
  • Stay ahead of evolving algorithms and SEO best practices, while contributing to GEO/AEO opportunities.
  • Leverage deep expertise in technical SEO concepts including XML sitemaps, structured data, HTML, and other applicable terms.
  • Use data and enterprise SEO tools (Google Search Console, seoClarity, ScreamingFrog, Botify, etc.) to provide insights and receive stakeholder buy-in
  • Audit or facilitate vendor audits for the AWS website and other properties
  • Build and champion a culture of testing by enabling teams to leverage testing tools owned by the search team
  • Drive data-driven decision making about on-site customer experience through test results and analysis
  • Measure and communicate the results of SEO initiatives to stakeholders at all levels
  • Communicate effectively with peers and upward to senior leadership, demonstrating ability to escalate appropriately

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • 5+ years of recent professional SEO experience working on large, global sites (100,000+ monthly visits from organic search traffic)
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Moz, seoClarity, ScreamingFrog, Botify, or similar platforms.
  • Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to implement SEO strategies.
  • Track record of taking SEO initiatives from concept to completion with measurable results.

Preferred

  • Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights
  • Experience with Salesforce and Tableau
  • Experience in B2B, digital advertising, and ad-tech products/services
  • 5+ years of recent professional SEO experience working on large, global sites (100,000+ monthly visits from organic search traffic)
  • Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to implement SEO strategies.
  • Track record of taking SEO initiatives from concept to completion with measurable results.
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership
