Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Commerce Strategy and Execution – understanding retailers in order to successfully coordinate and facilitate 3rd party vendor RFPs, evaluate RMN capabilities and proposals and manage ongoing campaign communication.
  • Setting channel and tactic strategies for brands and campaigns
  • Setting audience strategy for media campaigns to drive client objectives
  • Set Media KPIs based on client JTBD
  • Vendor communication around RFPs, proposals and campaign details (store lists, Sku lists for measurement, etc.).
  • Manage status documents
  • Learning and understanding new RMN capabilities
  • Handling communications with vendors, manager, creative and client teams
  • Commerce measurement – evaluation of vendor reports, completing end of campaign wrap reports with support from internal team; in-flight optimization evaluations and coordinating initiatives with partner agencies or vendors
  • Administration – Manage status docs and google drive; own updates to evergreen files like activations decks; recap calls and meetings
  • The Sr. Strategist will manage campaign strategy, execution and communication and should have a comprehensive knowledge of an RFP process, sound knowledge of proposals across offsite, social, onsite, video, static, influencer; communicate well with multiple parties
  • A love of the new, a passion for commerce, digital trends and technologies and an understanding of shoppers and commerce media
  • Partner closely with the broader Commerce Experience team to collaborate on commerce decks, reporting and brainstorms for big idea projects

Requirements

  • 4 – 6 years experience planning / executing commerce media (inclusive of retail media networks, third party digital, social, etc.)
  • Good understanding of shopper marketing and eCommerce – have worked on either client side or at an agency where they developed commerce media plans (evaluated CPMs, Impressions, Audiences, etc.), shopper specific programs, and understand the retail landscape
  • Experience in commerce planning with an emphasis on / interest in commerce media (eg; Walmart Connect, LCL, etc.)
  • Experience in crafting media campaign wrap reports
  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Bachelor’s degree required (note: this is a qualification in the description)
  • Strong writing skills and experience putting together strategic POV’s in the shopper space
  • Strong presentation and leadership skills
  • Self-starter and eager to learn and grow in their media knowledge
