Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Channel Engagement Planning: Define and execute channel engagement plans across distributors and ecosystem partners.
  • Product Release Alignment: Plan release schedules with Product Groups and Solutions Team.
  • Marketing Plan for Releases: Build marketing plans around product release calendars.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work with Sales on Engagement Plans to drive opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement & Opportunity Development: Drive customer engagement and develop opportunities.
  • Distributor & Customer Workshops: Present at distributor offices and hold workshops on new solutions and NPIs.
  • Key Accounts & Ecosystem Relationships: Support team in building relationships with key accounts and ecosystem partners.
  • Solution Differentiation: Identify solution-level and product-level opportunities and differentiate across industrial segments.
  • Promotion & Positioning: Direct the promotion and positioning of relevant application-focused solutions.
  • Cross-Business Initiatives: Champion cross-business solution initiatives at a strategic level.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration between BD, field sales, FAEs, marketing, and BUs.
  • Regional Voice & Planning: Represent the regional voice in corporate planning and solution development.
  • Market Intelligence Feedback: Feed market intelligence back into business units.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, marketing or technical sales.
  • This is a remote role based in the San Jose area; candidates must be locally based to be considered.
  • Deep understanding of the Industrial market, with experience in Building Automation, Industrial Automation, or Energy sectors.
  • Proven ability to follow up on leads and develop relationships in the field.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
