  • Must-have: 7+ years in growth marketing/CRM in sports betting or high-velocity digital marketplaces.
  • Standout: Strong cross-functional leadership bridging Acquisition, Brand, Product, and Trading/Odds teams.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Execute Seasonal Cohort Strategy: Own the management of new player cohorts acquired during key tentpole events. Implement strategies to maximize Initial NGR and ensure players acquired for a specific event are cross-sold into the broader sports offering.
  • Optimize the Funnel: Map and refine the journey from registration to first deposit with CRM and Product for a seamless first-bet experience during high-velocity pre-match windows.
  • Event-Driven Promotional Strategy: Partner with Promotions and Trading to design incentives that balance high-volume acquisition with margin health.
  • Dynamic Intake Analysis: Analyze cohort performance by acquisition source and entry event; report CAC vs early-life ROI to leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Bridge Acquisition, Brand, and Trading/Odds teams; align promo spend with sports schedule, volume targets, and risk profiles.
  • Reporting: Lead reporting of new player volume, early-life value, and marketing spend; partner with Finance and Analytics to optimize activity.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in growth marketing, CRM, or lifecycle strategy—specifically within Sports Betting, iGaming, or high-velocity digital marketplaces.
  • Sports Market Fluency: Deep understanding of sports calendar and betting behaviors (parlay vs straight bets, in-play vs pre-match).
  • Proven Track Record: Experience driving retention in a seasonal industry, managing churn after major sporting events.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in cohort analysis; explain value differences between cohorts acquired during different events.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex betting data into actionable narratives for leadership, especially hold percentages and reinvestment.
  • Operational Agility: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with pivoting strategies based on match results or injuries.
