Job Summary

Own the SMB strategy and execution engine, turning market signals into scalable, cross-functional plans that drive revenue and share for Global SMB.

  • Global SMB ownership: define priorities, governance, and GTM motion by customer tranche with cross-functional alignment from GSMB to partner teams.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end Envision-to-Run operating system across strategy (near & long term), planning, landing, governance, and optimization assuring clear alignment from ambition to execution and from customer insight to business results.
  • Lead Global SMB strategy : Both near and long strategy. Lead across key stakeholders in PMG, CSA and SME&C to build and land SMB narrative, product truth, product positioning & strategy by customer tranche and hero GTM motion.
  • Translate strategy into scalable execution by defining priorities, operating models, governance, metrics, and execution mechanisms that drive clarity, accountability, and cross-functional alignment across GSMB, CSA, GS&O, GCPS, OUs, SUs, and partners.
  • Build a continuous learning engine that turns performance insights, field feedback, and market signals into recommendations that strengthen execution and inform future strategy.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team by coaching, inspiring, and growing a diverse organization of strategy and sales enablement leaders across Global SMB.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Partner teams to connect go-to-market strategy, customer engagement, and execution at scale.
  • Champion innovation and customer advocacy
  • Serve as a spokesperson for Global SMB, representing the voice of the SMB customer and helping evangelize Microsoft’s solution value proposition internally and externally with customers and partners.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset marked by adaptability, curiosity, and a bias for action.
  • Champion culture and inclusion by fostering a growth mindset, high standards, and an environment where every team member can thrive and do their best work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience in in Near Term Strategy (2 years out), Management Consulting, Sales, or Finance.
  • 4+ years people management experience.
