Job Summary

Drive end-to-end direct mail creative from intake to delivery with hands-on production, QA, and mentorship to keep complex projects on track.

  • Own end-to-end production-ready creative from intake to delivery.
  • Must-have: 5+ years in a creative agency role with direct mail/print experience.
  • Standout: Hands-on production on production days and strong QA leadership.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute creative for direct mail programs inside client and internal guidelines — you carry real production volume, not just supervise it
  • Serve as the senior proofreader for the creative team, catching copy, design, layout, and brand-alignment issues before pieces advance to upload
  • Verify document settings after upload to our mailing system so final output matches spec
  • Show up on production days as a hands-on problem-solver, unblocking the team and keeping the schedule on its feet
  • Triage the ticket queue, prioritize against deadlines, and flag risks before they become fires
  • Take projects from intake to execution at a consistently high standard
  • Translate product positioning, strategy, and audience into finished creative
  • Mentor junior creative specialists with feedback that actually helps them get better
  • Bring ideas to the table for sharper workflows, tighter QA, and cleaner handoffs across departments

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a creative role inside an agency environment; direct mail, print production, or regulated-marketing experience is a strong plus
  • Working fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • A track record of leading proofreading and QA for a creative team, with the kind of attention to detail that makes other people slightly nervous (in a good way)
  • Strong conceptual and design instincts paired with consistently polished, error-free output
  • The discipline to work independently in a remote setting, with a reliable high-speed connection and dedicated availability during work hours
  • Composure under deadline pressure — production days don't faze you
  • Project-management chops: prioritizing, juggling, and shipping on time across multiple projects
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in everyday creative workflows — ideation, proofreading, asset generation, larger projects
  • Familiarity with mailing systems and end-to-end production workflows
