Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Commercial Insights & Category Understanding
  • Develop a strong understanding of the frozen category, competitive landscape, and shopper behavior to inform commercial decision-making
  • Pull and synthesize data from Nielsen, Circana, retailer portals, and internal sales to identify key trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights that inform sell stories, shopper programs, and portfolio decisions
  • Maintain a consistent pulse on category performance and retailer dynamics, ensuring the team is making decisions with the right context
  • Build simple, clear reporting that helps the team make faster and better commercial decisions
  • Innovation Support Through Insights
  • Support innovation work by bringing forward category, shopper, and consumer insights that help identify strong opportunities
  • Contribute to innovation briefs by providing commercial context such as target shopper, price positioning, competitive landscape, and retailer fit
  • Help ensure new ideas are grounded in real-world viability without owning the end-to-end innovation strategy

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in category management, shopper marketing, commercial strategy, or related CPG functions
  • Strong analytical and commercial thinker with hands-on experience using Nielsen, Circana, retailer portals, or equivalent tools
  • Experience translating data into actionable business recommendations
  • Strong understanding of shopper strategy, sell-in processes, and retail dynamics
  • Comfortable owning both strategic thinking and day-to-day execution
  • Excellent communicator who can simplify complexity into compelling commercial stories
  • Flexible and collaborative, with the ability to work across brand, sales, finance, and innovation teams
