Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve brand strategy, grounded in consumer, category, and competitive insights
  • Build and lead robust innovation pipeline for a portfolio of on-trend brands uncovering white space opportunities and supporting portfolio growth (consumer insight àSKU decisions)
  • Develop and execute integrated brand plans across retail, e-commerce and owned channels
  • Translate strategy into clear go-to-market plans that drive distribution, velocity, and household penetration
  • Lead commercialization of innovation from concept through launch, partnering cross-functionally to ensure executional excellence
  • Drive performance through data, leveraging analytics to optimize campaigns, product mix, and channel strategy
  • Champion brand storytelling with clear, differentiated messaging that reinforces premium positioning and consumer relevance
  • Lead and develop junior team members (ABMs/BMs), fostering strong strategic thinking and executional rigor
  • Manage brand P&L, including forecasting, pricing, and promotional strategy to deliver against financial targets
  • Develop plans for U.S. regional grocery excellence and support national expansion with a strong understanding of the retailer dynamics

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in CPG brand management, brand marketing, or marketing management within North American market is strongly preferred (pet category experience is an asset)
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience managing a brand across multiple markets
  • Experience managing agencies and developing campaigns
  • Data fluency, comfortable with syndicated data and able to make decisions
  • Creative thinker and problem solver that is self-motivated
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Project management experience, with a solid understanding of project management principles and techniques
  • Strategic thinker able to identify long-term opportunities and trends

  • Possesses a sense of urgency; self-motivated and detail-minded
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Creative Mindset- Insightful thinking as well as an aptitude for creative, out of the box thinking to develop compelling messaging and product campaigns
  • Trend Savviness- proficient in conducting category growth and analyzing consumer trends to inform brand strategy
  • Proficient in using data to measure and evaluated brand performance and making data-driven decisions
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple teams at once to meet deadlines
