Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Gain understanding of the customer lifecycle and develop models to optimize conversion KPIs.
  • Build scalable data pipelines to ingest and enrich data from Retail, Prime Video, FireTV, Alexa+ and AppStore.
  • Develop, test, deploy ML models in production with product and engineering partners.
  • Drive innovation and align roadmaps with other science, engineering and PM leaders.
  • Establish scalable processes for large-scale data analysis and model validation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of building machine learning models for business applications
  • PhD, or Master’s + 6+ years of applied research experience
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
  • Experience in speech recognition, machine translation or NLP systems

Preferred

  • Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, TensorFlow, NumPy
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark
