Job Summary

Regional marketing ownership of Subaru campaigns and retailer programs to drive demand while aligning Zone activity with SOA strategy.

  • Manage regional enrollment, activation and retailer engagement in Love Promise, Relationship, Owner, Digital and Parts & Service programs.
  • Coordinate with Zones, SOA Marketing and field partners to ensure consistent messaging and in-store merchandising; supervise up to two regional specialists.
  • Oversee budget planning and demand forecasting (RDF and media spend) to hit regional sales targets.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage regional enrollment, activation, and retailer engagement in Love Promise, Relationship, Owner, Digital and Parts & Service programs.
  • Coordinate with Zones, SOA Marketing, and field partners to ensure consistent messaging and in-store merchandising; supervise up to two regional specialists.
  • Oversee budget planning and demand forecasting using RDF and media spend to hit regional sales targets.
  • Provide Regional Marketing direction regarding applying Marketing resources to Zone Retailer Marketing Managers and deliver regional intelligence to support partners like Carmichael Lynch, Dealer.com, Shift Digital, and Care Connect.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets for the Regional Discretionary Fund, promotions, and selling expenses in line with SOA policies.
  • Monitor Subaru Advertising Fund spending to ensure regional and retailer media spend aligns with the marketing plan and supports Love Promise planning.
  • Maintain regional demand metrics and determine required demand (web traffic, leads) to achieve targets for Region and Zones.
  • Guide Zones on retailer Marketing messaging, channels, and in-store merchandising to align with Subaru Marketing strategy.
  • Plan and manage Regional Marketing event activation and logistics, including budgeting and staffing.
  • Collaborate with Experiential Marketing, Motorsports Marketing, and Auto Show teams to execute Subaru events and initiatives.
  • Manage up to two Regional Marketing Specialists, including career development and hiring activities.

Requirements

  • Education/Experience: BA/BS and 8-10 years' experience.
  • Ability to educate and influence retailers on Subaru Marketing priorities; automotive field and management experience in sales, marketing, inventory, budget management, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent organization, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills with a track record of handling multiple priorities and presenting to audiences.
  • Experience with process and event planning; intermediate Microsoft Office and Subaru databases skills.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, conflict management, and change management capabilities; proactive problem-solver with good judgement.
  • Willingness to travel 50% and lift up to 25 lbs; region office, Zone office, retailers, and event-site work environment.
