Job Summary

Own the facility marketing and public relations program with privacy compliance at the core, coordinating across departments to grow census and inform the community about services.

  • Public Relations & Marketing: develop programs, educate staff, and drive measurable impact in community outreach.
  • Policy & Compliance: align privacy rules and regulatory standards across departments and update policies.
  • Operations & Growth: collaborate with leadership to raise census by communicating programs and practices to the community.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain written policies and procedures that govern the release of information concerning the residents, employees, and/or the facility in accordance with current Privacy Rules and Regulations.
  • Assist the Administrator and department directors in the development and use of marketing and public relations policies and procedures.
  • Establish a rapport in and between departments so that each staff member can realize the importance of their role in our marketing and public relations programs.
  • Develop, organize, implement, evaluate, educate, and direct the facility’s public relations and marketing programs and activities.
  • Maintain and increase the facility’s census by providing the community with information about the facility’s programs, services, and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or public relations, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Preferred

  • Experience in educational program development and implementation.
  • Certification in Marketing or related field.
  • Proficiency in using marketing software and tools.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing marketing environments and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
