Responsibilities

• Assist with the research, development, and implementation of recreation activities, programs, and special events.
• Serve as an instructional guide and support participant engagement during community workshops, outdoor education programs, and camp retreats.
• Assist in the planning, preparation, and distribution of promotional and marketing materials for programs and events.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Recreation Coordinator and other Regional Parks staff.
• Support event setup, coordination, and on-site operations as needed.
• Travel to various Regional Parks facilities is required.

Requirements

• Six (6) months of full-time equivalent experience (paid or volunteer) in a customer service environment or recreation, education, or resort/hospitality setting which includes in-person contact with the general public.

Preferred

• The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Cash handling experience.
