Job Description

Responsibilities

  • SPM senior account executives are at the critical juncture of doing, leading and learning.
  • They have the opportunity to serve as a main client contact while also providing strategy and counsel.
  • They also assist in the development and execution of client PR plans, have exposure to editorial and crisis communications training and are encouraged to bring new ideas to the agency and its clients.
  • Work includes media relations, writing, account organization and management, PR strategy/planning, measurement and reporting, influencer strategy and execution and industry research.

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years’ post-graduate PR experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism or a related field from a four-year accredited college or university
  • You are a self-starter, a critical thinker and thrive in a high-energy environment
  • You are familiar with PR measurement and research tools, including Critical Mention, Muck Rack and HypeAuditor
  • You are based in the DFW area or are willing to relocate for in-person work
  • You live for getting a big win for your client

Nice To Have

  • Continuous learner and love to unearth new trends or tools
  • Agency experience and/or background in restaurant, CPG or petcare
  • AP style master
