Coordinate public outreach and PR document drafting for ONC in a remote, volunteer setting.

  • Own outreach to legacy media, influencers, academic communities, podcasters, and officials.
  • Must-have: Comfortable coordinating remotely via Zoom and Slack with strong communication.
  • Standout: College students preferred, ideally studying political science or communications.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to legacy media outlets, social media influencers, the academic community, podcasters, elected officials, etc.
  • Identify and research new initiatives.
  • Drafting documents in the public relations space the may be disseminated to the public or external parties as part of outreach or correspondence.
  • 5-10 hours per week.

Requirements

  • This position is remote, with work primarily conducted via Zoom and Slack. Applicants must be comfortable coordinating in a remote environment and are expected to maintain a high level of communication.
  • Preference to those able to commit to at least 6 months.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
  • At least 18 years of age or older.

  • College students preferred, ideally studying political science, communications, public relations, or a similar field.
