Support social media, content creation, and analytics for the DC Housing Finance Agency PR team as a student intern.

Own social media support, event coverage, and content updates.
Must-have: current student in Communications/PR with GPA 3.0+
Standout: familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics or Hootsuite

Responsibilities

Assist with projects led by the Vice President of Public Relations (events, seminars, receptions, speeches)
Take pictures and videos at Agency events for social media
Assist in managing the Agency’s website and social platforms
Promote events and programs on social media and the DCHFA events calendar
Engage users by responding to posts and comments on social media
Collaborate with the website provider to keep information up-to-date
Post updates and announcements to invite conversation
Create content and update social accounts with current photos and videos
Research relevant articles, stories, videos, and content for the Agency’s mission
Propose innovative ways to grow the Agency’s audience on social media

Requirements

Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university seeking an undergraduate and/or graduate degree
Have at least a 3.00 grade point average
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong photography and video production skills
Experience with basic photo-editing software
Experience with graphic design
Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/Premier) a plus
Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Hootsuite)
