Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, providing strategic counsel and addressing any concerns or challenges.
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive PR strategies that align with client objectives.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their goals and create tailored campaigns that deliver measurable results.
  • Manage and mentor a team of account managers and executives, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment that encourages creativity and excellence.
  • Oversee the implementation of PR campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve optimal results.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and pursue new business leads.
  • Participate in pitch presentations and contribute to the agency’s overall business development efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in public relations or communications, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing client accounts in an agency setting.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective PR strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and lead teams effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development and account growth.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in PR and media monitoring tools.
