Job Summary

Own the master messaging framework and commercialization enablement for DrFirst, translating product updates into customer-facing proof points, demos, and competitive positioning across buyers, with ongoing collaboration with Product, Analytics, and Sales.

  • Own messaging framework and GTM collateral
  • Translate release notes into sales-ready talking points

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Messaging Architecture & Commercial Positioning: Own the master messaging framework for DrFirst's products and solutions, positioning, value props, proof points, and audience-specific narratives, as the single source of truth the entire commercial organization works from
  • Position to Patient and Provider audiences: different buyers, different problems, different language, one coherent platform story
  • Develop deep familiarity with DrFirst's feature set, enough to write accurately, brief confidently, and train effectively, and keep that knowledge current as products evolve
  • Keep messaging current as products change, results come in, and the competitive landscape shifts; deprecate outdated claims proactively
  • Release Notes & Product-to-Market Translation: Attend product reviews, sprint demos, and roadmap sessions; identify what matters commercially and translate it into clear, benefit-focused communications before the market hears it elsewhere
  • Digest release notes and engineering updates and produce the commercial interpretation: what changed, why it matters to customers, and what Sales and Client Success should say in renewal conversations and new business pitches
  • Surface the commercial nuggets buried in technical updates and get them into the hands of the field quickly
  • Position each release as evidence of DrFirst's innovation velocity with existing customers, not just a feature announcement
  • Demo Scripts & Talk Track Development: Produce the talk track for how DrFirst's products work, the narrative a seller or Client Success manager follows to show value, handle objections, and move a conversation forward
  • Join the product development cycle early enough to shape how new features are demonstrated, not just how they are described after the fact

Requirements

  • 5+ years in product marketing or a closely related commercial strategy role within healthcare technology, health IT, or B2B SaaS
  • Demonstrated experience building messaging frameworks and positioning from the ground up, not just executing someone else's strategy
  • Proven track record working directly with Product and Engineering teams, attending sprint reviews and translating technical outputs for commercial audiences
  • Experience writing or contributing to demo scripts, talk tracks, and sales training materials
  • Experience delivering product training or enablement to commercial teams, including release briefings and competitive updates
  • Background in competitive intelligence research, synthesizing findings into field-ready guidance
  • Hands-on experience sourcing, verifying, and framing quantitative evidence for market-facing use
  • Experience briefing and directing creative and content teams, holding output accountable to a brief without doing the execution
  • Physical Requirements: Primarily desk-based with occasional travel to industry conferences, partner meetings, and internal team events
  • Estimated 10 to 20% travel

Preferred

  • MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Product marketing certifications (Pragmatic Institute, Product Marketing Alliance, or equivalent) a plus
  • Prior experience in a HIPAA-regulated or healthcare enterprise environment preferred
  • Familiarity with e-prescribing, pharmacy benefit, point-of-care, or clinical workflow technology preferred

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation, with a base salary of $130,000 to $150,000 (Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience)
  • Eligible for Company Performance-based Bonus Program, based on individual and company performance
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401K eligible after 3 months of employment, with 50% company match up to first 5% of salary contributed to the plan with a 3-year vesting schedule
  • HSA for eligible employees enrolled in the HDHP, with a generous company contribution up to $500 for individual coverage and $1,000 for family coverage per year
  • 100% company paid short and long-term disability, AD&D, and group life insurance
  • Accrued annual paid time off (PTO) of 18 days for the first 3 years of service, increasing thereafter, plus 7 paid holiday days
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Continuing Education funds up to $1,500 annually for eligible programs after 1 year of service
  • Voluntary benefits including FSA, Hospital Indemnity, Accident, and Critical Illness insurances
