Job Summary

Own and lead product marketing for Rho, shaping positioning, launches, and go-to-market across new markets and AI products, with a focus on customer voices, scalable playbooks, and enabled sales.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • This role owns how Rho shows up in all of it: positioning, launches, the website, and go-to-market playbooks. You report to the VP of Marketing and own the product marketing function. You'll be the voice of the customer, building personas that sharpen how the entire company sells, builds, and communicates. The best people in this seat are a little obsessive: they can't stop turning a positioning problem over in their head, they read the interview transcript twice, they care about the exact word.
  • When we storm a new market, you lead the way in how we position Rho to win it. You'll build agents to scale the function without adding headcount. You'll partner with Sales Enablement to keep pushing close rates up.
  • New market entries. Own positioning, narrative, pricing story, competitive strategy, and launch execution for Rho's entry into new product categories, several per year, against entrenched incumbents. Build the entry playbook that makes each launch faster than the last.
  • Rho Labs. Own the story for Rho's most advanced AI product work: agentic and AI-native products that don't have an existing category or vocabulary. Your job is to make frontier capability legible, turning complex technical work into language customers, investors, and the market immediately understand, and deciding how and when that work becomes public narrative.
  • The launch calendar, and what comes after. Single owner of sequencing, readiness, and go/no-go across everything Rho ships. You decide what ships loud, what ships quiet, and what isn't ready. And launch is the start of the story, not the end of it: you own the release comms channels and adoption programs that make sure customers actually discover and use what we build.
  • Sales enablement. Partner with Sales to turn product capability into stories reps can use in the field: competitive positioning, objection handling, and the narratives that win head-to-head deals.
  • SMB go-to-market. Take Rho's segment research and turn it into market-specific GTM: ICP definitions sharp enough to target, messaging in the customer's own language, and entry playbooks per segment. Partner with the Growth team to translate positioning into live campaigns, and build the feedback loop where performance data sharpens positioning.
  • The website. Own rho.co messaging end to end: narrative, page architecture, copy, and launch pages. You ship changes directly.
  • Voice of the customer. Run a continuous customer interview cadence and own the synthesis that sales, growth, creative, and product act on. The bar is decisions traceable to customer evidence, every quarter.
  • Customer marketing. Turn the customer base into proof: case studies, references, testimonials, and advocates in every segment we serve.

Requirements

  • An excellent writer who takes full ownership and is a little obsessed.
  • A distinctive point of view and the creativity to build narratives that cut through a crowded, noisy market
  • 7+ years in product marketing, including at least one new category or product line entry you owned end to end
  • You can market AI products credibly: you understand how agentic products actually work and can explain them without hype or hand-waving
  • You ship. You've personally built and published pages, tools, or campaigns, and we'll ask you to show us something you made yourself
  • You've built ICPs and segmentation from primary research and behavioral data, not an analyst report
  • You do customer calls yourself and turn them into decisions
  • You're a systems thinker: you build the playbook, the insight loop, and the workflow, not just the deliverable, so everything you ship makes the next thing faster
  • You've managed at least one person
  • You write fast, clean, and in the customer's language

Benefits

  • equity, comprehensive healthcare benefits, and paid time off.
