Job Summary

Own the power IC product line with end-to-end ownership of market sizing, pricing strategy, and P&L while shaping hyperscaler hardware engagements, design-win differentiation, and NPI business cases.

  • Market and pricing ownership: build business cases, forecast revenue, optimize gross margins, and drive cost trade-offs across the lifecycle.

  • Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and maintain up-to-date competitive battle cards
  • Analyze hyperscaler CapEx trends, power architecture roadmaps, and OCP/ODCC specifications to identify product gaps and opportunities for portfolio expansion
  • Track GPU and ASIC power delivery evolution and translate implications into product requirements
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive pricing strategy for the product line, including list pricing, volume break structures, LTA pricing frameworks, and competitive response pricing
  • Own the product family P&L in partnership with finance, including revenue forecasting, gross margin management, and cost roadmap optimization in collaboration with foundry, packaging, and test engineering
  • Provide forecasting inputs and business case analysis for NPI investments in collaboration with product management and finance
  • Support design-win pipeline development with technical differentiation packages, competitive response kits, and customer-specific value engineering analyses
  • Manage product lifecycle transitions including EOL planning, bridge product strategy, and new product introduction (NPI) coordination
  • Engage directly with hyperscaler hardware platform teams to shape requirements, gain design-window visibility, and establish technology roadmap alignment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with 5+ years in product marketing, product management, or technical business development for analog, mixed-signal, or power management ICs
  • Strong commercial acumen: proven ability to build and defend business cases, manage product P&L, drive pricing strategy, and optimize cost trade-offs across the product lifecycle
  • Experience engaging directly with hyperscaler, cloud, or HPC customer hardware engineering and procurement teams
  • Demonstrated ability to develop technical marketing collateral for sophisticated engineering audiences
  • Experience executing product launches, including pricing, sampling, collateral, and sales enablement in semiconductor markets
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills; ability to influence without authority across engineering, sales, and executive stakeholders

Preferred

  • MBA or equivalent business education is a plus for roles with expanded P&L and commercial responsibilities
  • 12+ years with a demonstrated record of shipping power ICs into hyperscaler production programs at AWS, Google, Microsoft, Meta, or their ODM partners
  • Deep technical knowledge across power IC application domains: multiphase DC-DC controllers, smart power stages, 48V IBC architectures
  • Prior hands-on experience as an IC design engineer, applications engineer, or power systems architect — providing ground-level credibility with design teams and customers

Benefits

  • Renesas offers a full range of elective benefits including medical, health savings account (with applicable medical plan), dental, vision, health and/or dependent care flexible spending accounts, pre-tax commuter benefits, life insurance, AD&D, and pet insurance.
