  • Content & Communications: Publish educational content across blogs, newsletters, and social that highlights therapist specialties.
  • Digital Presence: Maintain Google Business Profile and local search visibility while tracking outreach impact.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Identify, contact, and build relationships with local doctors, school guidance counselors, HR managers, and allied wellness professionals.
  • Organize local workshops, open houses, or community mental health presentations (both virtual and in-person).
  • Create, schedule, and publish educational content (blogs, newsletters, and social media posts) that highlights our therapists' specialties.
  • Keep our Google Business Profile active and updated with fresh updates, FAQs, and posts to capture local search traffic.
  • Develop and implement community outreach strategies to increase engagement and visibility
  • Manage social media platforms by creating compelling content, scheduling posts, and monitoring interactions
  • Represent the organization at public events, community meetings, and outreach activities
  • Assist with data collection for program evaluation, social media analytics, and fundraising efforts
  • Contribute to strategic planning sessions to align marketing campaigns with organizational goals

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years in marketing, community outreach, or public relations (healthcare or wellness industry preferred).
  • Compliance Knowledge: Clear understanding of HIPAA compliance, confidentiality laws, and ethical boundaries regarding mental health marketing.
  • Skills: Proficiency with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later), email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), and basic design software (e.g., Canva).
  • Traits: High emotional intelligence, warm communication style, and strong self-direction.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
  • Experience in social media management and social media marketing strategies
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to reach broader community segments
  • Demonstrated experience in community outreach
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles, business development, and communications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills
