Job Summary

Own outreach and communications for provider recruitment and regional partnerships, turning CCR&R impact into clear, accessible updates for state partners and community stakeholders.

Outreach & Communications: lead messaging for trainings, conferences, and provider resources to grow the provider base and substitute registry.
Partnerships & Recruitment: build and nurture community alliances to strengthen pipelines and workforce entry pathways.
Reporting & Access: produce community- and legislative-facing materials and navigate CCR&R data systems to surface impact.

Job Description

Responsibilities

This position is 185 days per year, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day to begin July 1st.
Create and coordinate communication and marketing materials for trainings, initiatives, conferences, and outreach efforts.
Develop internal and external communications content, including newsletters, media releases, web content, and provider resources.
Ensure consistent branding, accurate messaging, and alignment with CCR&R priorities, staff initiatives, and state systems.
Lead outreach and communication efforts to recruit early learning providers and substitutes and promote participation in CCR&R workforce initiatives.
Develop recruitment campaigns, materials, and partnership strategies that strengthen provider pipelines, support workforce entry pathways, and increase substitute registry engagement across the region.
Assist with outreach, communication, and promotion of Every Child Belongs services
Support engagement with providers, partners, and community stakeholders
Participate in and support in-person outreach events and presentations
Build relationships with community organizations, partners, and stakeholders

Requirements

Step 9 on the Oregon Registry
extensive experience in design and marketing
Demonstrates a strong track record of engaging communities and promoting events through diverse communication and design platforms.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel to and from school locations in the Douglas ESD service area and may be required to travel on overnight assignments.
