Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identifies and develops content opportunities that align with the company’s customer base.
  • Creates compelling written content that can present technical aviation information in a simplified and engaging manner.
  • Ensures consistency of voice, messaging, and branding across all content developed.
  • Leads the planning, maintenance, and execution of an editorial calendar to ensure a consistent flow of relevant content.
  • Collaborates with internal teams and subject matter experts to develop and pitch story ideas.
  • Monitors, researches, and analyzes industry trends regarding emerging topics and information the business aviation community is interested in.
  • Works across teams to participate in reviewing brand voice policies and ensure company content remains consistent.
  • Network and liaise with other industry professionals with opportunities for travel to trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
  • Facilitate and participate in presenting at webinars, seminars, and other educational or enrichment events.
  • Support the team in various tasks and projects, as requested.

Requirements

  • Experience in the aviation industry.
  • Previous work in copywriting where a strong attention to detail and creation of engaging content were necessary.
  • High proficiency in written English.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred

  • Experience with managing an editorial calendar.
  • Familiarity with advanced aircraft operations, avionics and systems.
  • Familiarity with Safety Management Systems, particularly for aviation operations.
