  • Spokesperson Readiness & Trends: Coach executives for interviews and translate tech trends into compelling narratives for diverse audiences.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic media relations plans to promote the company's products, services, and thought leadership in the technology sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key reporters, editors, influencers, and analysts who cover innovation and technology topics.
  • Pitch and secure positive media coverage across a variety of channels, including print, online, broadcast, and social media.
  • Prepare and coach spokespeople for media interviews, events, and speaking opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze media trends, issues, and opportunities in the technology sector and provide insights and recommendations to senior management and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage media relations resources and vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field.
  • At least nine years of experience in media relations, preferably in the technology sector or with technology clients.
  • Proven track record of securing high-impact media coverage and building strong media relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories and messages for different audiences and platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of the technology industry, trends, and issues, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and engaging narratives.
  • Creative, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
