Job Summary

Own media planning execution and vendor management for health-focused campaigns, turning data, trafficking, and optimization into measurable campaign performance while building publisher relationships and emerging opportunities.

  • Media planning and trafficking: Build and optimize cross-channel campaigns across video, social, display, and email.
  • Vendor management and procurement: Draft RFPs, run Q&A, negotiate placements, and manage contracts.
  • Reporting and optimization: Deliver data-driven insights, QA, and performance recommendations to improve outcomes.

Job Description

  • Media planning and trafficking: Develop and execute multi-channel media plans across video, social, display, audio, email, print, and OOH.
  • RFPs and vendor management: Draft and issue RFPs, lead vendor Q&A, and negotiate online media placement and pricing.
  • Campaign setup and contracts: Code UTMs, upload, traffic campaigns, create and maintain insertion orders/contracts, and manage related invoicing.
  • Creative specs and coordination: Create and maintain creative spec sheets; liaise with creative agency as needed.
  • Reporting and optimization: Deliver reporting, data compilation/QA, data analysis, and insights to optimize performance.
  • Budget management and tooling: Manage media budgets, monthly/annual billing reconciliation, and campaign building in Mediaocean/Prisma.
  • Vendor relationships and market intelligence: Maintain publisher relationships, develop POVs on emerging media opportunities, and research competitive/media landscape data.
  • Training and mentorship: Train Assistant Media Planners and share best practices.

    Requirements

    • BS/BA required; Marketing/Advertising concentration preferred
    • Minimum one year of digital media planning experience required
    • Genuine interest in advertising and the health and wellness industry
    • Strong knowledge of activating digital media campaigns (trafficking, optimizations, pacing, building media plans, billing)
    • Experience drafting and issuing RFPs, leading Q&A, and negotiating with vendors
    • Experience with media/research tools (Mediaocean/Prisma, GCM, comScore, Kantar, GA, etc.)
    • Strong MS Office skills (Excel with pivot tables, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Pharmaceutical or Health/Wellness experience a plus
