Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop and produce video and digital content for church events, educational initiatives, communications, and social media platforms.
  • Create and manage engaging content specifically for Facebook and Instagram, including posts, stories, reels, and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with ministry leaders to produce promotional videos and storytelling content that highlights church life and impact.
  • Edit and publish content across platforms, ensuring alignment with the church’s mission, vision, and brand.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee day-to-day management of the church’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.
  • Plan and execute a consistent content calendar to increase engagement and reach.
  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve visibility and interaction.
  • Stay current with social media trends and best practices.
  • Visual Media Management: Oversee the creation and organization of visual media assets for events and communications.
  • Ensure consistency in branding across all digital and visual platforms.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in video production and editing (familiarity with software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
  • Experience managing social media platforms, especially Facebook and Instagram.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and visual storytelling.
  • Familiarity with church culture and a passion for ministry.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred

  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
  • Knowledge of lighting and sound equipment.
  • Experience in a church or non-profit setting.
  • Understanding of social media analytics and content strategy.
