Responsibilities

• Create and manage engaging content for social media, email, and the Spooky Nook Sports website.
• Support marketing campaigns that drive awareness, traffic, and community engagement.
• Track results and share insights to improve performance.
• Build and edit proposals and presentations for prospective and returning partners.
• Research and qualify leads to grow the sponsorship pipeline.
• Assist with prospecting and outreach to connect with local and regional businesses.
• Work with internal teams to support events, activations, and promotions.
• Capture photos/video at events to showcase experiences across channels.
• Bring fresh ideas that push our marketing and sponsorship strategies forward.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–2 years of marketing, communications, or sales experience preferred (internships or relevant projects count).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and website editors (HubSpot experience a plus, but not required).
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Team-oriented with a proactive , self-starter mindset.

Preferred

• Excellent interpersonal skills; comfortable working with a wide range of people and businesses.
• Familiarity with email marketing tools (Constant Contact, HubSpot, or similar).
• Basic knowledge of WordPress or other website editors.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; event management software experience a plus.
• Dependable, punctual, and guest-focused with a positive, professional attitude.
• Self-starter who can work independently, manage multiple projects, and take initiative.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and willingness to support others.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and communicate effectively across diverse groups.
• High integrity and accountability when handling confidential information.
