Job Summary

Own the end-to-end marketing and public relations program for CMP, guiding campaign creation, brand management, media relations, and performance reporting across channels.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of new programs/products/services..
  • Ensure CMP’s brand image is kept at a high standard with all advertising and printed literature.
  • Based on assessment, write drafts and proposals for communication campaigns that would benefit the CMP’s brand.
  • Write advertising copy, design advertising layouts, prepare artwork for use in print and electronic advertising formats including newspapers, newsletters, direct mailing pieces, emailed electronic files, radio advertising and television advertising.
  • To work with the Communications Manager on new advertisements for website.
  • Work with range managers (all) on promotion of the ranges.
  • Evaluate success of campaigns when completed by collecting and maintain sales records or event attendance to track, review and modify performance of marketing initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with media, local communities, competitors and vendors.
  • Provide recommendations and methods to improve public relations for the CMP.
  • Provide monthly reports/updates to General Manager.

Requirements

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or five to ten years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills/Training: The ability to gain an in depth knowledge of all CMP operations. Excellent computer skills with the ability to use MSWord, Excel and proprietary data processing programs are required. Ability to effectively communicate with affiliate leaders, vendors, military leaders, community members and competitors/customers is required.
  • Travel is required. A valid driver’s license is required for travel and driving CMP owned vehicles.
