Job Summary

Own the research-to-insight pipeline for a small marketing team by turning market and competitive data into actionable recommendations and visuals, while keeping campaigns organized and platforms updated.

  • Research & Insights: conduct market, competitive, and customer analysis to uncover trends and growth opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Synthesis: translate findings into actionable recommendations for internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Operations & Communications: collect and analyze data, support CRM/digital marketing workflows, and maintain social updates across platforms.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities using Google research, ZoomInfo, internal software, website leads, and industry databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Present findings through clear visualizations, summaries, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Design marketing flyers, promotional materials, and branded graphics using Canva.
  • Create and post updates across Millwood’s platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn and IndustryNet.
  • Help streamline and organize marketing communications, social media activity, and digital marketing efforts.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data related to sales performance, customer behavior, and marketing campaign results.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties to support the marketing department and related projects.

Requirements

  • College student pursuing degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data insights.
  • Experience with Canva, Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; Outlook) and social media platforms preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
