Job Summary

Own and manage the end-to-end AI partnerships lifecycle, turning vendor capabilities into actionable business and marketing plans while coordinating cross-functional activation, governance, and measurement to drive enterprise outcomes.

  • Oversees opportunity assessment, strategy, and executive-ready materials for partnerships with AI/LLM vendors
  • Aligns cross-functional teams (Legal, Compliance, Risk, Procurement, Tech, Product, Marketing) to ensure value, compliance, and measurable impact

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage relationships with AI vendors and LLM providers, including OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, Perplexity, and other relevant platforms.
  • Own the full partnership lifecycle, including opportunity assessment, relationship strategy, deal structuring support, activation planning, ongoing partner management, and performance measurement.
  • Translate partner capabilities, commercial models, and platform opportunities into practical marketing and business recommendations for internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Procurement, Technology, Product, and Marketing to structure external partnerships around mutual value, regulatory fit, and measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain clear partner plans, success metrics, executive updates, and operating routines that keep partnership work aligned to enterprise priorities.
  • Identify and evaluate strategic partnership opportunities that expand distribution, strengthen customer engagement, and support acquisition, engagement, retention, and brand objectives.
  • Lead exploration of embedded finance opportunities with fintech, digital platforms, marketplaces, and other ecosystem partners where Ally products, experiences, or offers can be integrated into relevant customer journeys.
  • Develop partnership opportunity assessments that define target audiences, strategic rationale, partner value exchange, commercial considerations, operational requirements, and expected business impact.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activation plans for approved partnerships, including positioning, customer experience considerations, launch readiness, measurement plans, and post-launch optimization.
  • Establish clear governance routines for priority partnerships, including stakeholder alignment, decision forums, issue escalation, partner communications, and leadership updates, in partnership with Marketing Operations

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business
  • 7+ years of professional experience in a marketing or business-related field
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, or marketing technology — with meaningful exposure to AI, automation, or emerging technology
  • Working knowledge of the AI and LLM landscape — including OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, Perplexity, and adjacent tooling — and genuine curiosity about where it is heading
  • Experience managing external vendor, platform or strategic partner relationships, including cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management
  • Demonstrated ability to assess external partnership opportunities and translate partner capabilities into practical business, marketing and experience recommendations.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate partnership value, business impact, operational feasibility, risk considerations, audience alignment and potential tradeoffs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and synthesizing complexity into clear narratives
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity with a bias for action while maintaining strong judgment, governance, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization
