Job Summary

Own and orchestrate AWS health and life sciences event presence, aligning cross-functional teams to create high-impact, executive-facing moments and differentiated content that demonstrates customer value.

  • Event Strategy & Execution: Lead planning, content, and on-site moments for large industry events across AWS segments.
  • Content & Storytelling: Build content that highlights AWS HCLS differentiators and customer success stories across key sessions and keynote moments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align marketing, product, sales, and external partners to deliver seamless experiences and measure impact.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of AWS presence at large-scale 1P and 3P industry events in partnership with central event teams
  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives at industry events to showcase messaging, content, keynotes, and breakout sessions that land AWS's HCLS value proposition
  • Manage high-visibility event moments involving senior AWS and customer executives, including keynotes, fireside chats, and executive roundtables
  • Develop event content strategies that highlight AWS's healthcare and life sciences differentiation and customer success stories
  • Partner with other marketing teams (e.g., web content, campaigns, demand generation, field teams, and central events) to drive and execute on global marketing initiatives
  • Coordinate across internal teams (product marketing, executive communications, sales, partner) and external vendors to deliver seamless event experiences
  • Drive post-event measurement and reporting to continuously measure and optimize marketing initiatives, quantifying impact and informing future event strategy
  • Partner with customer references and advocacy teams to secure high-impact customer speakers and stories for events

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Experience producing marketing promotional material for Owned & Operated channels

Preferred

  • Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
