Job Summary

Own end-to-end event programs from strategy and budget to on-site execution and follow-up, while partnering with Sales to turn events into meetings and pipeline across trade shows, conferences, private and field events.

  • End-to-end ownership of event strategy, budgeting, and logistics
  • Close collaboration with Sales/BDR to drive pipeline from events

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Event Strategy & Calendar
  • Trade Shows & Conferences
  • Private & Field Events
  • Pipeline & Sales Partnership
  • Budget & Vendor Management
  • Measurement & Reporting
  • Marketing Ops + Automation
  • Experiments
  • Special Projects

Requirements

  • Roughly 3 to 5+ years in event marketing or field marketing, ideally at a B2B SaaS company
  • Experience running events for a B2B SaaS tech company (this one is a must, not a nice-to-have)
  • Experience owning events end to end, from strategy and budget to on-site execution and post-event follow-up
  • Extremely detail-oriented. You catch the wrong load-in time, the missing shipment, and the typo on the booth graphic before anyone else does
  • Genuinely excited to build and create from the ground up, not just maintain a calendar someone else set up
  • Experience working with Sales and BDR / SDR teams to turn events into meetings and pipeline
  • Comfortable owning a budget and holding vendors, venues, and agencies to a high standard
  • Calm under pressure, resourceful on-site, and always working the next contingency
  • You know your way around HubSpot and event / lead-capture tools, and you can read the numbers that tell you what worked
  • You write killer copy that gets people to show up, not just "clever," but effective

Preferred

  • Preferred: You have worked on a small events team (one to three people), where you owned a lot and figured out the rest yourself
  • You're AI-Native
  • Building your own GPTs, agents, or custom workflows (not just prompting a chatbot)
  • Using AI to actually make things: event invites, follow-up sequences, recap content, landing pages, and outreach at scale
  • Wiring AI into event ops: list segmentation, lead enrichment, personalization, and reporting
  • Following the latest drops from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, and xAI, and putting them to work fast
