Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives and long-term business plans.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive go-to-market strategies across New Energy Works businesses, services, markets, and geographies.
  • Define audience segmentation strategies by customer type, project type, market sector, geography, and stage of the buying journey.
  • Establish clear market positioning and messaging frameworks for: Residential timber frame homes and structures; Commercial timber frame and mass timber projects; High performance enclosure systems; Design services; Construction services; Fine woodworking.
  • Identify opportunities for market expansion and partnership development.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership, sales, operations, marketing, and design teams to align marketing investments with strategic business priorities.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, customer behavior, and emerging market opportunities throughout North America.
  • Develop integrated demand generation strategies that create qualified leads and project opportunities.
  • Design customer acquisition and nurture programs that support long-consideration, relationship-driven sales cycles.
  • Establish marketing and sales processes for lead qualification, handoff, follow-up, and opportunity tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated success developing growth strategies, go-to-market plans, demand generation programs, and measurable business results.
  • Experience leading marketing strategy within construction, architecture, design-build, luxury residential, building products, manufacturing, or related industries strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, digital marketing ecosystems, and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Experience participating in executive leadership and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot, Google Analytics GA4, CRM systems, marketing automation tools, project management software, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with operational execution in an entrepreneurial, mission-driven environment.
  • Commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability, innovation, and organizational excellence.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience leading marketing strategy within construction, architecture, design-build, luxury residential, building products, manufacturing, or related industries (strongly preferred).
