Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of product owners and business analysts, providing clear direction, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Set clear objectives, monitor team and product KPIs, and ensure accountability for results.
  • Own the delivery of the product roadmap, ensuring planned initiatives are executed and sequenced effectively to meet business and strategic objectives.
  • Partner closely with the Program Manager to align timelines and prioritization while balancing business needs, engineering inputs, and the broader Content Supply Chain strategy.
  • Adopt a customer centric approach by gathering and analyzing user feedback, usage data, and industry trends to guide product decisions aimed to enhance user experience.
  • Work with engineering leadership to define and coordinate resource needs, identifying gaps and facilitating the support required to ensure teams are properly resourced.
  • Track product spend and partner with the Purchasing team on product specific implementation efforts.
  • Lead product specific initiatives related to any future application searches or onboardings required to support the Content Supply Chain.
  • Oversee the application configuration strategy, onboarding, and governance to support Caterpillar’s Content Supply Chain, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Serve as the strategic liaison among business stakeholders, engineering teams, and supplier partners to advocate for enhancements and improved user functionality that align with enterprise standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience as a people leader or manager, with a proven track record of developing and empowering teams.
  • Background in digital marketing practices and content creation strategies.
  • Strong interest in supporting governance, compliance, and process standardization.
  • Detail oriented, well organized, and accountable, with a proven ability to maintain accuracy and consistency across multiple projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences, including engineering, business partners, and leadership.
  • Experience in defining assessment criteria to evaluate potential applications or systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and functions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive, emotional, or potentially controversial situations effectively, particularly during periods of change management.
  • Familiarity with Product Information Management (PIM) or Content Management Systems (CMS) and the Adobe Marketing Products (Workfront, Frame.io, AEM Assets, and Firefly Services).
