Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing strategies that increase awareness and engagement.
• Manage and grow the Chamber's social media presence across platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
• Maintain and update the Chamber website with current news, events, and resources.
• Create marketing materials, newsletters, email campaigns, press releases, and promotional content.
• Track and analyze marketing performance to improve effectiveness and reach.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Chamber members, local businesses, and community stakeholders.
• Support member recruitment and retention initiatives by promoting the value of Chamber membership.
• Serve as a liaison between the Chamber and local organizations to strengthen partnerships and collaboration.
• Respond to inquiries from members and the public regarding Chamber programs, events, and services.
• Assist with planning, promotion, and execution of Chamber events, including networking events, ribbon cuttings, business expos, and community programs.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing initiatives.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Passion for community engagement, relationship building, and economic development.
• Availability to attend occasional evening and weekend events.

Preferred

• Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Two or more years of experience in marketing, communications, community relations, or event planning.
• Experience working with nonprofit organizations, chambers of commerce, membership organizations, or business associations.
• Graphic design experience and proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design platforms.
