Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage education program logistics, including registration setup, calendar listings, marketing materials, and member support.
  • Maintain program data, content schedules, and the online resource library to ensure accurate, timely, and engaging materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to enhance existing resources and identify opportunities for new education initiatives.
  • Lead event marketing, signage, sponsorship fulfillment, and booth coordination to ensure strong visibility and engagement.
  • Assist with logistics for Council meetings and association events.
  • Maintain the events calendar and work cross‑functionally to align event strategy, messaging, and on‑site execution.
  • Manage association advertising efforts, including deadlines, creative development, and coordination with trade press and internal teams.
  • Oversee website and social platform content, update to keep information current, engaging, and aligned with AAHomecare’s goals.
  • Maintain and grow member partner and affinity programs, strengthening relationships and identifying opportunities to enhance member value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in communications, marketing, event planning, or project management.
  • Strong writing, editing and content development skills.
  • Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Association or nonprofit experience is a plus.
