Job Summary

Own the client communications content engine, turning wildfire incidents, service details, and client needs into clear, brand-aligned deliverables for multiple stakeholders.

  • Content governance and deliverable ownership: ensure client materials meet style standards and are delivered on time.
  • Collateral and channel production: create presentations, reports, case studies, and social content that engage clients and support retention.
  • Research-to-insight: synthesize industry trends and client needs into actionable recommendations for leadership and strategy.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure materials align with client deliverables to firm-wide style guide requirements.
  • Lead the Client Communications department consisting of technical writers and editors, project coordinators (future), and graphic designers (future).
  • Manage accuracy and updates to sales and business development content including presentations, statement of qualification documents, and marketing fliers.
  • Create incident-specific summaries on key wildfire incidents that present key metrics, photographs, and successes.
  • Oversee successful delivery of requested project deliverables (e.g., client-specific annual reports, wildfire incident case studies, client facing presentations, and other client deliverables as requested.)
  • Create polished, professional deliverables for clients, including presentations, reports, one‑pagers, and service summaries.
  • Develop marketing collateral that supports client engagement, retention, and education.
  • Ensure all materials reflect current service offerings, brand standards, and departmental priorities.
  • Drive the identification, acquisition, and management of relevant content across Wildfire Defense Systems to create and execute proactive, creative, and effective communications.
  • Conduct ongoing research on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or content development
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual communication skills
  • Experience producing client‑facing materials and managing social media content
  • Ability to conduct and synthesize industry research
  • Experience working in international markets, primarily Canada
  • Experience with search engine optimization (SEO) platforms
  • Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and analytics platform
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15-lbs.
