Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across digital, print, and social platforms
  • Manage marketing timelines and team deliverables
  • Oversee content creation, SEO, on site marketing, and advertising campaigns
  • Monitor performance metrics and analyze data to optimize campaigns
  • Collaborate with technical, product, and creative teams to align messaging
  • Conduct market research to identify customer trends and competitive insights
  • Coordinate events, business development, and promotional initiatives
  • Manage and mentor marketing team members
  • Maintain brand consistency across all channels and materials

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or a related field (advanced degree in Communications or a related field preferred)
  • 3-5+ years of progressive marketing or communications experience, including team leadership or supervisory responsibility
  • Proven track record of building and scaling brands and growth programs
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution capability
  • Deep understanding of modern marketing channels, tools, and analytics, including demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate content development, communications, and campaign work
  • Experience effectively communicating to multiple audiences
  • Experience with digital platforms, paid media, and marketing automation
  • Experience producing stakeholder-facing communications such as sponsorship materials, impact reports, or partnership content
  • Experience in nonprofit, higher education, workforce development, trade associations, economic development, or similar mission-driven organizations preferred

  • Experience in cross-functional leadership across marketing, product, and creative teams
  • Proven ability to translate mission and brand narrative into compelling messaging across sponsorship, partner engagement, and public awareness.
