Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Execute the firm’s annual marketing and communications plan
  • Support individual attorneys in developing and refining their business development plans
  • Draft, distribute, and track press releases; maintain and cultivate media contacts; monitor publication of firm news across outlets
  • Develop and manage the firm's LinkedIn content calendar, including drafting and publishing posts, monitoring engagement, and tracking performance metrics
  • Support attorney speaking engagements with outside organizations, including logistics coordination, CE/CLE accreditation assistance, and production of branded materials such as presentation templates, handouts, and signage
  • Design ads and marketing collateral for print and digital channels
  • Maintain and update the firm website (content updates, attorney bios, practice area pages, news)
  • Coordinate firm participation in sponsored events; ensure the firm receives all contracted sponsorship benefits
  • Manage relationships with outside vendors (printers, media contacts, etc.)
  • Reconcile the firm’s marketing budget monthly, track spend vs. plan, and provide regular budget/marketing activity status updates to leadership

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of marketing or communications experience, ideally in a professional services or legal environment
  • Strong writing skills — you can draft a polished press release and a punchy social caption with equal confidence
  • Working proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar)
  • Experience with website CMS platforms; basic HTML a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
  • Comfort with budget tracking and basic reporting/analytics (monthly reconciliation and annual metrics reporting)
  • Comfort working within approval processes and with multiple internal stakeholders
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach — you take the work seriously, not yourself
  • Reliable personal transportation for monthly inter-office travel
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services setting is a strong plus, but not required
