Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the JRA Marketing Team by developing content for weekly James River Watch emails, blogs, and social media posts
  • Create digital and print designs in Canva
  • Work with JRA staff to source and organize images from volunteers, recreationalists, and other stakeholders
  • Support the JRA team in developing a social media plan that encourages audiences to connect to the river.

Requirements

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Personal phone for recording videos and capturing photographs
  • Must be available to work Friday evenings until about 6pm throughout the internship

Preferred

  • experience with content creation and/or photography
  • familiarity with Canva and MailChimp
  • Baseline knowledge of the James River and river recreationalists
